Katrina used to head up all employer brand efforts at Vodafone - and as owner of all internal and external recruitment messaging in the UK - led many exciting projects including the UK careers site.
The existing VF careers site was 7 years old when this project began. With zero budget, multiple Vodafone careers sites, a new brand identity, no measurement and with an ATS to consider – this was a challenge and a half.
The careers site is the shop window for all jobs and applications to work at Vodafone. With 140k applications every year – we needed to improve the candidate experience and make it feel joined up with the consumer brand.
Collaborating with internal and external partners the site was designed with candidate at the heart – using new functionality created by the RMS partner. We designed the site with multiple entry points (depending on your areas of interest) to only show relevant content. Overall brand alignment (inc tone of voice) towards the new consumer brand resulted in a consistent candidate experience – and as a majority of work was completed internally with massive cost savings for Vodafone.
